The first scene of the Anupama episode from May 17, 2023 begins with Anupama being shocked to learn that Maaya will accompany Anuj to Samar’s wedding functions.
Vanraj becomes enraged and asks Hasmukh, “What gives Anuj the right to show his face after what he has done with Anupama?” Hasmukh then asks Anupama if she is comfortable with the news and Vanraj asks what gives Anuj the right to do so.
Anupama says that she wants to talk to Anuj before she leaves the country because she wants to clear things up with him for good this time.
The Shah family is occupied the following day because the pooja for the first marriage ceremony is scheduled for the evening after.
As she gets ready for the evening event, Anupama considers whether Anuj will attend the event.
Later, while Anupama was walking along the road, she misplaced her shoe, and as she stumbled back to adjust it, a hand abruptly placed the shoe at her foot.
Anupama looks up and gets stunned to see Anuj remaining before her.
